I Give L-Lysine Powder to My Cats
I rescue black cats from abusive situations and had a breakout of upper respiratory infections. I took the cat who was on the brink of dying to the Vet who told me adding Lysine (an essential amino acid (protein) for cats) to their diet would not only help keep the infections from happening as often, but it would also help the cats recover a lot more quickly. That is exactly what has happened so this must work. I hate products with additives, fillers, sweeteners and so on. I know pure lysine doesn't taste great but I take it for my wellbeing. I blend it with other powders and use my own natural monk fruit sweetener. So far, I haven't found a better deal on L-Lysine. The powder isn't clumpy at all, mixes well and I get a lot for a low price. I highly recommend for those who want to up their amino acid intake.I hate products with additives, fillers, sweeteners and so on. Use a couple of 1/4 scoops with my powdered vitamin C to follow the Linus Pauling protocol for cardiovascular health. The lysine dissolves well in water if you stir it well. Takes some of the bitterness from the vitamin C.
